In March 2018, LearnX were asked to develop a detailed and viable implementation plan for the learning environment project at Bradford University. LearnX spent an intensive week with the Project team, scoping and documenting the project and facilitating the team to make decisions. Having successfully re-envisioned the project, LearnX ran this through to closure, including change management and communications, successfully launching the system in September as per the client requirement and delivering more than was expected of a project under such a tight timeframe. The rapid delivery of such a high quality project is particularly impressive and was only able to happen due to the knowledge, experience and hard work of LearnX consultants.
At St Georges an existing open-source Virtual Learning Environment had become cumbersome; little more than a repository for information which students were finding difficult to access in an intuitive way. The University launched a project to roll out a learning platform that would allow well aligned modules and programmes and that staff and students would find easy to use and engage. LearnX led the transformation of how teaching and learning takes place by developing an innovative learning journey, moving away from a mere document repository to an engaging and collaborative environment that significantly enhances the student experience and encourages academics to create better teaching practices.
